Weather at Hamburg vs Hong Kong

What a pity that July had passed, the temperature in Hamburg still around 10°C to 19°C, I cannot recall there had a nice summer with sunshine here.....at least for last 3 weeks....always cloudy, rainny.....

July for Hong Kong I understand from weather broadcast was 27°C to 33-4°C...., except some (heavy) rainny day also

If there is a balance between Hamburg and Hong Kong, it would be nice!

Thanks to Sasha, Anke, Osman, Natalia, Ozgur, Vesna, Andreas, Alina, Kathia, Gabriel, Marc and Sandra.....(order not in preference)

Thanks for everything, this is an unforgettable birthday for me. I'll remember the birthday cake, party at Berliner Tor.

We went to Alster at 2:00am to chat a while, we know we only have two months left for the course, we will miss each others.

都市日報(網上版) - 把鬼

自問不是很容易 "生氣", 但這份都市日報(網上版), 真的太令人(我)失望, 不能不在這裏宣洩一o下o

或許大家每天都可在地下鐵拿到(早d起身, 應該是拿到的), 但我就要每天背負幾斤重的"國際商業機器"回校, download 這份20mb的file回家看o

可厭的是, 這份"網上版", 一星期裏, 總有一, 兩天是delay或missing. 或許我真我想看, 我會send Email 給這家公司, 它們從不回覆我的Email(NEVER!!), 而我亦只好每天不時login, 希望它們把檔案上載好, 好讓我不會跟香港"脫節"o

當然, 頭條日報已是我每天必讀, 但都市日報(網上版)那可有可無的服務態度, 實在令人生厭和失望o

Confederation Cup and NBA

There are so many matches yesterday, two games for Confederation Cup (Brazil vs Japan and Mexico vs Greece).

Of course I watched the Brazil vs Japan, quite suprised that Japan can almost win the game but just need some more "luck". The result was 2:2. Brazil go to final, Japan had out because of better overal scores for Brazil.

2 goals for Japan for sure was not get by luck.

NBA finals - Game 6, Piston played a very good game yesterday. At the other side, Tim Duncan and his team seems tired and the team work for Piston is much better than Spurs.

I have no bias to Piston or Spurs, what I like/need is a nice, exciting game.

But, Just like many NBA fans, I would miss the time that Michael Jordan play in NBA (with Chicago Bulls).

Don't wake me up at 4:00am!!

Yesterday was a terrible night for me, I got a phone call from advertising company from Hong Kong, I don't know how they get the phone number. What he trying to do is ask for one minute to conduct a short survey/testing........I have two things don't understand:

1. How this company get my fixed line number in Germany, which I think less than 5 people know this number in Hong Kong.

2. This stupid guy know he is calling from Hong Kong to Germany, why he don't check the time difference before he call me (10:00am for HKG, which is 4:00am in Germany)

Result: I can't get into sleep again until morning, but I have to wake up at 9:30am.....

One of the group assignment would need us to describe an "ideal" school (which may not exist! ), part of the content my group had designed 10 rules for the school:

1. Respect your professors and classmates
2. Behave honestly
3. We all make mistakes, face the consequences
4. The University is your home, respect it
5. Be open to talk to the professors about any kind of problem you may face
6. The University is committed to you, as you have to be committed to the society
7. Respect different ideas
8. Dare to try
9. Help the others even if you are not asked for
10.Do your very best

This may also apply to a community......

UEFA Champions - Liverpool

The UEFA champions game yesterday was really exciting, great!

Most of us think 2nd half will not be interesting because Liverpool lost 3:0 to AC Milan in the first half.

This is "miracle" that Liverpool get 3 goals in 2nd half. And then go to extra time, penalty kick......

"Ball is round", you don't know the result before the referee blow the whistle. I also recall the UEFA game few years ago, MU vs Bayern Munich, MU get 2 goals in last 2-3 minutes.

Never forgive if there is still have chance!
